![]() Fatigue test systems perform the same test capabilities as static test machines but do so at higher speeds, with increased power and with superior control characteristics - and are more expensive. Fatigue testers help characterize materials over a wider time spectrum or test rate, and more likely to employ load and strain control waveforms that require special application software.
The control system is the heart of any fatigue tester and critical. Our servo controllers feature the highest resolution measurement and control in the industry. The 2360 can operate up to 16 test stations simultaneously. Our general purpose software performs standard tests plus we offer special applications software as needed. The load frame, power pack and actuator are configured to match force, speed and travel requirements. We offer both electro dynamic and servo hydraulic fatigue test machines with associated accessories (chambers, fixtures, extensometers). A fatigue test machine performs virtually any and all mechanical tests including static tensile, compression, peel and tests such as stress relaxation and creep. In addition, a fatigue tester performs high speed impact tests, simulates loading service conditions, and performs high cycle tests that last millions of cycles. |
