840 Micromechanical Fatigue to 580 lb (2.5 kN)
Overview - Best value tabletop all electric fatigue test system - competitively priced - now available in proven designs for biaxial and multichannel test applications.
Electrodynamic Biaxial test machines are a recent development. Servoelectric, or electrodynamic fatigue test machines were first applied into low force tests ten years ago – in medical device testing. Our product line has evolved quickly based on a modular design approach that enables rapid development of new applications and configurations. Each system is configured using load frame, actuator, and control system modules matched to customer requirements. This approach has reduced our costs and sped our time to market for new configurations and modules.
Our ED Biaxial product line is displacing competing servohydraulic test systems due to its competetive advantages - delivering reasonably high load capacity, long fatigue life, low purchase and maintenance costs, higher measurement and control resolution, more compact size, and open architecture control software than competing firms. We can now claim customer satisfaction in biaxial testing applications.
We offer tabletop and floor mounted axial torsional systems and planar biaxial test tables. Planar biaxial systems are modular and have 2 or 4 actuators controlled in multichannel load or strain control mode.
Another innovation occurring in the last several years is the development of a true 24 bit resolution high speed servocontroller – the 2370. Originally intended for multichannel and multistation servohydraulic fatigue test labs, the 2370 controller pushes fatigue testing to the next level because it lowers controller noise and resolves data with high resolution. This allows users to get more bandwidth out of their sensors and to control actuators better.
