Structural Actuators & Fatigue Test Systems rated to 12,400 lb (55 kN) - Electrodynamic | 550 Series
OVERVIEW
TestResources offers extensive expertise in structural and components testing applications where the 550LE series fit. Static, dynamic and fatigue tests of structures and components are common in civil engineering, aerospace, automotive and medical implant testing applications.
The 550LE is a unique modular multi-channel test system that employs electro dynamic technology to deliver load capacities up to 12,400 lb (55 kN) at test speeds up to 15 hz. We understand how to precisely control the forces, specimens and complex conditions required to evaluate the performance and durability of structures, as well as the elements, components and substructures used in them.

ACTUATORS
Five types of E Series actuators are available as shown. Detailed actuator specifications available by contacting us. Actuators are chosen to match test stroke, load and speed test requirements by an application engineer. Our product line includes other types of actuators including servo hydraulic, higher speed electro dynamic, and slower speed electromechanical actuators.
CONTROLLERS AND SOFTWARES
Three servo controllers are compatible with E Series actuators. All controllers are configured to requirements and include compatible software products. Functionally, all controllers include PID servo control tuning, high speed data acquisition, cycling, and high resolution signal conditioners. They all perform machine control and capture and export test data.
