OVERVIEW
Floor Standing 300 Series electromechanical universal test machines are our most popular test machines and are configured by an applications engineer to match your needs. Several different controllers and test software options make it possible to perform a wide range of tensile, compression, shear, flexure, peel, adhesion, friction, tear, cyclic, and flexural bend tests. The 300 Series machines all feature dual column frames with load ratings up to 600 kn (135 kip) and speeds up to 1000 mm/min (40 ipm).
314 Series floor standing universal test machines are configured to each customer needs including performance, flexibility, simplicity and affordability. The 314 frame is rated for loads of 22500 lb (100 kN) or 33750 lb (150 kN) and speeds to 20 ipm (500 mm/m). Computerized or stand alone controllers are selected to match expectations for test setup, data capture, monitoring, analysis and test reporting. Accessories such as grips, fixtures, chambers and high travel extensometers are matched to your test and sample geometries. The load frame features robust high quality dual column ball screws selected for full scale loading. Frame options include extended columns and wide width versions made-to-order. A high resolution digital encoder measures and control crosshead travel, speed and position. Precision servomotors deliver rated forces and test speeds. One or more load cells are selected to match test resolution needs.

    CONTROLLERS AND SOFTWARES

    Three servo controller packages are available with 300 Series Test Machines. All controllers include PID closed loop servo control, high speed data acquisition and high resolution signal conditioners. All controllers can be used for constant rate of extension (speed) and constant rate of load (load rate) control. They all capture and display test data. P and Q Type TouchPad controllers are capable of stand alone operation and also computerized machine control with optional XY Test Software. R Series controllers are NOT stand-alonge and require a PC. R Controllers offer additional hardware capabilities and include integrated flexible test software, making them the best choice for labs that perform tests involving multiple test applications.
