The E3543 features gauge lengths from 2 inches (50 mm) to more than 10 inches (250 mm), with measuring ranges to 4 inches (100 mm). It may be left on through specimen failure and used where long samples are required. Ideal for testing steel re-bar, weld joints, and wire materials.
This unique pull-apart design protects the extensometer when the speicmen fails.
