| Description | Pneumatic wedge action grips are for static and cyclic tension tests of wires, plastics, metals and elastomers, tensile, static and tension cyclic tests. Pneumatic wedge grips feature easy specimen loading, self alignment and centerline sample positioning. Pneumatic wedge grips offer and advantage over their mechanical counterparts in that they can apply a pre-load to the sample. Wedge gripping force increases as the pull load goes up, so these self-tightening grips are ideal when high clamp load is needed |
